Well, I think someone is messing w/ me, but according to my calendar my Bug turns 6 today. That can't be.

Karma!

Let me introduce you to our newest family member...Karma! She is a two year old Golden and a sweetheart through and through. Our friend needed a home for her beloved girl and we were all too happy to take her on(I can not say no to a Golden). Maggie couldn't care less that she is here and Karma is very good at leaving Maggie alone...perfect. ;)

Grace's Game

This is called 'put Grace's pants over your head and try to find the deflated balloon'. We play it sometimes because the girls think it's a hoot.

Wow

You know what is hard? When your daughter's classmate calls your house and leaves a msg asking if another kid from their class can play. Then when your daughter calls her classmate back and explains that she called the wrong house, her classmate tells her she never meant to call her and doesn't want to play w/ her. Now she is crying. Super. This is only kindergarten...such drama already. Grace already cries every morning before school...this will make her really want to go back on Monday. Hurray!

Easter!

Saturday morning started the holiday celebration w/ the annual neighborhood egg hunt in G & G Cramer's neighborhood. Unfortunately, Grace woke up w/ a 102.1 temp that morning and voluntarily stayed home, so Eme went solo.

We had a little area all to ourselves...the other parents were nice enough to steer their kids away from Eme because she was one of the smallest ones there...


Phew! This basket is heavy!


She got so into it that she started picking up rocks and attempted to pass them off as eggs...


Phew! Hard work...walk it off, girl, walk it off...


Oh, if only you could have seen how she was trying to make this horse rock...she was the only thing rocking, but she thought she and the horse were in it together...



Later that day, coloring those eggs...


Forget the spoon! A whisk works much better!!

The Easter Bunny brought new cds, stuffed bunnies, fairies and Elmo...



Easter morning...the Easter bunny hid eggs inside and out....





Grace and I let Jay's dogs out in the afternoon...hung out in the nice spring weather while they played...



Easter evening...time spent w/ my cousin Mark, his wife Stacy, their kids Madison, Ashley and Grant and of course, Great Grndma, Grandma and Grandpa...the kids had a blast!



Bubbles kept them busy for a long time...





Ashley and Eme were buds...



Grace was buds w/ everyone...





It was a good one! :) Although, we missed our crew...Bean, Monkey, Squirt and B!! Oh, Jeff, Jay, Kim and Kate, too! ;) Next year....
