Hi G-G

Took Emerson w/ me yesterday to my Grandma's grave site. To say Eme was mildly confused at first is an understatement, but as w/ most little ones, she took it in stride and accepted whatever I said as the truth. I talked about dying, Heaven and who G-G was...her response? "Okay." :) Ah, well...

Other adorable things out of her little mouth...
"Where's G-G's house?" "This is where she lives...the park?!" "That's weird." "Bye, G-G...bye G-G-Pa...bye Uncle Bob...see you later! Love you!"

She spent most of her time "jump, jump, jumping"....

Happy 7th!

Grace turned seven...rather successfully...

After school, I surprised her w/ a visit to Build A Bear...she was allowed the animal of her choice...

A gift from above...while driving to dinner we spotted a full rainbow...however I was unable to get the entire thing in the picture, so please enjoy the half of it I was able to catch...

This past Sunday we had her family party out at the park...she loved it...a bunch of her favorite people in one place...presents and food...the ability to run around outdoors...what more could a seven year old ask for?

Grace requested no characters on her cake this year...in fact she chose to skip the cake altogether and get a giant cookie instead...she's growing up...

The park we were at has this weird kind of obstacle course...no one could figure out what all of it was for, but the kids enjoyed it...

Later that day...

Seeing as the family party fell on May Day, Grace handed out her made all by herself May Day baskets after the party...she thinks this is the coolest tradition...

Two Goodbyes

Another tooth...gone!

Two days ago...it was barely hanging on...


Loose tooth vs the hot dog she had for lunch...hot dog won...


And she has the little treasure chest to prove it...(I think that was the best part for her)....


Big day, well kind of, for Eme....last day of Kindermusic...on to preschool in the fall? Not sure yet, but for now...thanks, Miss. Ann, she loved it!!!
