Our Sunday looked like this....

The girls set up a reading picnic...their words, not mine...


Emerson spent most of the day here...

It was the first day of Spring and it was nice, but not quite nice enough for the pool, although Grace asked....so, she settled for this and apparently prayed for even warmer weather...


These two were inseparable...they truly have a love/hate relationship, but that day, for the most part, it was love...well, that could be because Emerson had bread in her little teapot, but all the same...

Yoga

Grace's Daisy Troop got to experience yoga yesterday....it went well(?)....most of the girls sat still and participated at least.

I will confess, her smile disappeared quickly after the stretching started and she determined that yoga was 'BORING'....:)


...but, she had fun setting up our mats and pillows....

Grace and her best friend, Madison....I had to snap a pic before I got in the same position....it felt soooo good...I think I see another yoga class in my near future....


The Daisy Troop w/ their troop leader....who is on her way out....which means, I'm the new leader....which means 'help!'....

Bug 'n Me

Fun Friday afternoon. I had the itch to take Grace out of school a little early yesterday....it was a surprise for her and she kept asking me why....'because it's a nice day' was my response. Some days, you just need to do that.

So....off for ice cream....her favorite place, Sonic...where they bring it out to the car and we sit and chat....

Feet on the dash...watching the birds enjoy the warmth...

Grace requested a walk after ice cream, so we headed out to the lake...although she didn't want to walk by the lake, but in the woods...based on her clothes, I think she is ready for summer...


Not the prettiest time of year, but who doesn't love a little mud?


She loves to watch the water...no matter how little there is...


Perfect...


We wrapped up with some shopping before adding Eme to the mix...nice start to the weekend. :)

Tooth Fairy, Part 2

The Tooth Fairy did make an appearance.....causing Grace to sit and analyze for quite some time about how the fairy does what she does...


Emerson had a really hard time understanding why there was nothing under her pillow...Grace worked hard to explain it...


I had to post both pics because Eme's expressions just show that she is not buying a word Grace is selling...

Looks like someone has earned a visit from the Tooth Fairy tonight....her first tooth lost w/out help from the dentist. :) It's been coming for days now...that gross, barely hanging on thing that baby teeth do as they are falling out, but finally.....
