Okay.

I've just completed an hours worth of watching One Direction because my young friends Grace and Eme are 'in love'.  So, I bopped along, sang along, went along for the hour and was asked who I thought was the cutest....who I would choose as my 'boyfriend'.  I made my decision as they had long since before me made theirs.  And then.  It hit me.

Technically....I am old enough to be my 'boyfriend's' mom.  Albeit, I would have been a young mom, but still. 

Hmmm.

Just one of those moments when you realize...huh...somewhere along this path I got a bit older than I realized. 

I'm having more and more of those moments.

Ah, well.

Eme and I were snapping away today...and you know what...that kid did okay.  I had to show off her other two efforts of me from the day (because I was impressed!) and then, of course, share a couple favorites of mine of her. :)

Happy Thanksgiving

Sunday the girls and I helped my folks deliver Thanksgiving meals for those who can't afford to provide their own.  The pictures do all the talking.  Proud of my little turkeys. :)

G:  "I left my dignity in the bathroom."
Me:  "What?"
G:  "I left my dignity in the bathroom."
Me:  "What does that mean?"
E:  "Mom.  It means her camera....she left her camera in the bathroom."
....an enlightening conversation held while out to eat Saturday night....(I still have no idea what Grace meant and I've decided I prefer it that way.)

Party!

I was invited to a party and I walked in and this is what I saw.  Just too cute (and a way messy room!!!)

Apparently...it was her birthday....she had her own drink and yes, she played the game, too.  Love this age for these two girls. :)

All For A Good Cause

Support the school...eat some pizza...buy some books...that about sums up our night.

Notice the red mark under Eme's eye?  Two guesses what caused that...go ahead...guess......  That's right!  A shoe.  How'd you know?  I don't know how these things happen because I pretend not to notice them if I can help it (should I admit to that?)....my guess is that it might have something to do w/ the 'battle' she and Grace were having right before we left the house!  Good grief.

She was at it again today...cleaning for G & G...earning money for charity.

 

She was proud of her work. :)  I'm super proud of her.

Grace's school is raising money for a charity that donates books to those in need.  In order to raise money to donate, Grace is doing some chores for family members.

 

Thanks Jeff and Kim for letting her rake leaves and put away Halloween decorations!  She had a blast and (hopefully) learned something!!!

"I'm like the Easter Bunny...I don't know how I do it...I just deliver 'em and there they are!!!"

Just made me smile.
